This Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. It describes the categories of personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).
- Identifiers — name, email, phone, account ID, IP address.
- Customer records — billing details, business information for vendors.
- Commercial information — bookings, quotes, payments, transaction history.
- Internet / device activity — device type, OS, app version, pages viewed, features used, crash logs.
- Geolocation — approximate (from IP) and, with permission, precise device location.
- Audio / visual / electronic — profile, portfolio, and event media you upload; support communications.
- Professional information — vendor business, category, credentials.
- Inferences — preferences and recommendations drawn from your activity.
We may collect a limited amount of sensitive personal information, such as account credentials (password, hashed) and precise geolocation when you enable it. We use sensitive personal information only for the purposes permitted by the CCPA/CPRA — for example, providing the Service you request, maintaining security, and preventing fraud — and not for inferring characteristics about you.
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
- Create accounts, listings, bookings, payments, and payouts.
- Communicate with you (transactional; marketing with consent).
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Aggregate/de-identify data for analytics and product research.
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Retention windows are described in the Privacy Policy: account data while active plus up to 30 days after a deletion request; booking, payment, tax, and financial records for 7 years; security and fraud-prevention logs for up to 7 years where necessary.
- Know what personal information we have collected about you.
- Access a portable copy of that information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete personal information (subject to legal retention).
- Limit use of sensitive personal information to permitted purposes.
- Opt out of sale or sharing (not applicable — we do not sell or share for cross-context ads).
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
You can exercise most rights directly from your profile settings. To submit a formal request, email legal@vibraconnect.app with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and describe your request. We will verify your identity using information already associated with your account and respond within the time permitted by law (generally 45 days, extendable once by another 45 days).
We will not deny you the Service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your CCPA/CPRA rights.
California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits residents to request information about our disclosure of certain personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
